Generally speaking, the charging infrastructure can be divided into three main categories: public charging, commercial charging, and private charging. Each of these categories is aimed at different user groups and requires solutions tailored to their specific needs. These user groups include, in particular, commuters, corporate fleets, customers and visitors, and private households.

The public charging infrastructure includes all freely accessible charging points in public spaces, such as along streets or in public parking lots. Charging points on private property may also be considered public, provided they are accessible to all user groups. The main advantage of public charging points lies in their high flexibility. Users can conveniently charge their vehicles regardless of where they live or work. Commercial charging infrastructure refers to charging stations located on private property that are not open to the public but are reserved for specific user groups. These include, for example, employee and customer parking lots at companies, hotels, or shopping centers.
This area plays an important role in daily charging habits, as vehicles can be charged during longer stops, such as during work hours or while shopping. This allows charging time to be efficiently integrated into daily life and helps relieve the strain on public charging infrastructure. Examples of projects we have completed can be found at the Shimadzu site in Duisburg or at duisport.
Home Chargers
Home chargers are a convenient and widely used solution located right at home, allowing for overnight charging. Most charging takes place at home or at work, making private charging a cornerstone of electric mobility. If employees of our corporate clients are interested in having their own wallbox so they can charge their company cars at home and bill the company for the electricity used, we’ll provide the appropriate wallbox and handle the billing for electricity consumption.
Planning and Implementation
Every project begins with a thorough analysis. During this process, both individual needs and existing grid capacity are carefully assessed. Based on this analysis, a detailed plan for the charging infrastructure is developed, tailored to the specific requirements and conditions. This is followed by professional installation and commissioning, including the initial and all subsequent maintenance procedures, as well as any necessary notifications or requests to the grid operator.
