Company history
The Weiss+Appetito Group, headquartered in Switzerland, was founded in 1923 and today employs around 600 people. As a company with a long tradition in the construction services sector, we place particular emphasis on quality, customer satisfaction and sustainable solutions. Our mission statement emphasizes the core values of fairness, reliability and a sense of responsibility.
The W+A Group is divided into several divisions. The innovation project we.digitize, with the digital products LiveCharger® and LiveLocker®, is organizationally located in the telecommunications division. Since 2015, we have been dedicated to the topic of digitalization, which has enabled us to build up extensive expertise in the field of innovative shooting compartments and e-charging stations. Our work was recognized with the prestigious Digital Champions Award in 2018.

Our products
LiveLocker®
LiveLockers® are digital lockers that can be used without any cumbersome accessories such as keys or cards - all you need is your smartphone. You can also reserve a locker in advance for an event. Whether for trade fair visitors, gym visitors or office buildings: LiveLocker® provides a flexible, secure and intuitive storage solution.
For situations where you want to lock up your smartphone, the lockers offer a user-friendly touchpad. Simply select a locker number and set an individual PIN to easily lock and unlock your locker. Thanks to the automatic locking system and color-coded status lights (red = locked, green = unlocked), use is particularly convenient and secure. You can open the locker as often as you like during the booking process. Operating the lockers is intuitive and does not require the installation of any software. The only thing you need is either the QR code on site or you can use the access directly online.
LiveCharger®
With our LiveCharger®, we offer a flexible solution for charging electric vehicles that sets itself apart from traditional, stationary charging points. Conventional charging stations are usually immobile - the fixed installation restricts the supply of several parking spaces. In addition, their construction is cost-intensive and too complex for infrastructures that are too small. However, if the charging infrastructure is too oversized, the mobility of the future quickly becomes a loss-making business. That's why our LiveChargers® are based on conductor rails. This eliminates the need for costly civil engineering and earthworks. They are also compatible with every wallbox and every backend. The charging stations can be freely distributed along the entire conductor rail and can be repositioned at any time with little effort. The rails are modularly expandable, which means that new parking areas can be electrified at any time. Our solution can also be installed with an offset. This is also possible in the open air, as the rails and charging boxes are housed in a tailor-made enclosure. Thanks to the innovative powerline technology, there are no annoying LAN cables and no additional wireless network is required for the charging stations. The conductor plates are safe and insulated against contact, while the busbars can carry high currents of over 400A at 400V with a minimum voltage drop of less than 1%. This makes them ideal as supply lines for electric charging stations. Our LiveChargers® are cost-effective, robust and independent of the property's communication system. We have already implemented numerous successful projects with our LiveCharger® solution, such as at the Trauffer Experience or in the parking garage at Frankfurter Ring 172 in Munich!
